MEDIA ACCREDITATION FOR FIFTH WINDOW OF FIBA WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS NOW OPEN

Local and international media representatives wishing to attend one or both games at Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne are invited to apply for accreditation online through the FIBA Media Portal.

Media representatives who have not previously registered with the Portal will need to create a FIBA profile before completing their application.

Creating a profile or logging in to a previous existing account is not an application in itself. Applicants are required to complete all steps and complete all required fields.

To apply for a specific game each media representative must:

  • Log-in to the FIBA Media Portal or create a new profile
  • Select Asian Qualifiers from the event list
  • Select the game(s) to attend during the fifth window

Media credentials will be awarded on the basis of the professional history of the applying media, relevance to the event and basketball in general, as well as space availability in the venue.

The accreditation process will be open until midnight AEDT, Sunday November 18 and no accreditation passes will be granted after this date.

Once confirmed, media accreditation passes can be collected at Margaret Court Arena prior to the open training sessions on the day before each game day or at the open shootarounds on the morning of each game day. More details will be available closer to the date.

Passes will also be available to be collected prior to tip-off at 7.30pm on Friday, November 30 or Monday, December 3 for both games at the front ticket desk at Margaret Court Arena.

Apply for media accreditation through the FIBA Media Portal.
