Games on Tuesday 4/2/25 will go ahead as scheduled.
If the temperature holds as expected in the mid to high 30s, heat timing will be in place, for the health and safety of both Players and Officials who have to work multiple games throughout the night. This decision will be made by the competition manager on the night.
HEAT TIMING RULESWhen the court temperature reaches 30oC, Association Staff must consider implementing and where the court temperature reaches 35oC, must implement the following amendments to the timing rules in article 11.1 and 11.2:– Each half reduced to 18 minutes– Compulsory Time out: the referee must call an additional compulsory timeout close to the half way mark in each half, where the clock will STOP.
If the temperature reaches 40 oC, games must be called off.
