Josh Giddey – A Star In The Making

His impressive stat sheet includes an average of 20 points, 8.3 boards and six assists whilst playing at the 2019 U18 Australian Junior Championships. Giddey’s talent has seen him being named in the all-star team at the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders in Chicago and tournament MVP at the 2020 Torneo Junior Ciutat de L’Hospitalet.

Despite his raw age of 17, the guard is going to shake things up tonight, with his fierce determination to make his name known.

Josh sat down with us to give us an insight into his journey at Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence.

Josh Giddey, a 6’8” recruit from the Centre of Excellence, is the youngest Boomer since the likes of Ben Simmons. Undoubtedly, Giddey is a star on the rise, and one to keep your eye on.
