Inaugural Wear Your Colours Day!
This Saturday 16th May we want everyone to chuck on their basketball gear, as we usually would on the weekend to play games, and celebrate our first ever Wear Your Colours Day!
We are encouraging every player, parent and their pet to wear their favourite piece of basketball clothing to show your love for our game. Coaches grab your shirts and refs reach for your stripes and whistles to get involved too!
Jerseys and gear can be from your associations, clubs, NBL or NBA team, or international teams. We want this to be a chance for us to feel connected to our sporting passion while we stay at home.
We will also have some special appearances from Victorian athletes on our social media channels on the day, including Luke, Austin and Jazmin Shelley PLUS Alanna Smith.
We want to see as many people from our Victorian basketball community coming together to celebrate. We will be re-sharing and re-posting pictures of people celebrating the day to our social media accounts.
