FIBA 3×3 Woman’s World Series: Australian team set for Tokyo stop

There will be six nations competing at the event, with Japan, China, Netherlands, Mongolia and Romania also taking part.

Japan, China, Netherlands and Mongolia will be familiar opposition for the Australian squad, after they were able to defeat those nations on the way to claiming the trophy at their last WWS event in Chengdu, China.

The Australian squad will be coached by Dave Biwer, with Alice Kunek, Maddie Garrick, Keely Froling, and Bec Cole making up the roster.

The six nations will be split up into two groups for Saturday’s pool play portion of the event, before Sunday will see quarter-final, semi-final and final action.

Australia will join Japan and the Netherlands in Pool B, and all games can be streamed live via the FIBA YouTube channel.
