CROCS SET TO GO AT FIBA UNDER-16 ASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS
Run from April 2-8 in Foshan, China, Australia will play two games in the group stage of the tournament before the Quarter-Finals begin on April 6.
A victory in that game will see the Crocs advance to the Semi-Finals while also earning qualification to the Under-17 World Cup in Argentina which starts June 30.
Their first foray into the Under-16 Asian Championships, Australia will meet Malaysia and the Philippines in the group stage but also have to be wary of three-time winners China and defending Champions South Korea.
If the Crocs finish on top of Group B, they will advance directly to the Quarter-Finals but even if they finish second or third, they will have one more chance to advance in a knock-out playoff game.
All contests through the tournament will be live-streamed by FIBA and simulcast on the Basketball Australia Facebook page.
Stay tuned to Basketball Australia’s social media channels for updates throughout the competition as well.
