Aussie Hoops – COVID-19 Program Update
As the current environment evolves, Basketball Australia will continue to prioritise the health and safety of the basketball community. As a result, Basketball Australia recommends all Term One Aussie Hoops programs currently running should be suspended immediately. Subsequently, Term Two Aussie Hoops programs and registrations are currently suspended. Basketball Australia will not be accepting or processing Term Two registrations or participant pack orders until further notice. All participants who have registered for a Term Two Aussie Hoops program will be entitled to a full refund as per the Aussie Hoops Refund Policy.
Basketball Australia are working within three key principles:
- Observing government guidelines
- Seeking advice of contemporary health and safety experts
- Ensuring the safety of the basketball community.
Basketball Australia supports the government in slowing this pandemic and reducing the peak to protect those most vulnerable in the community. Information is changing daily and as such, we will continue to provide advice as it evolves and continue to assess the risk of each of our competitions, programs and events accordingly.
