After a week of competition, we are headed into the last day of the tournament which will see teams play off for the final placings and medals across 12 games.

For the Under-18 men, WA Metro and QLD South are the last teams standings and will meet in the gold medal playoff tonight at 7pm.

WA Metro defeated defending Champs Vic Metro by 11 points last night and are now aiming for their first Under-18 title since 2000 while QLD South are going for their Champonship since 1988 after getting the better of Tasmania, handing them their first loss of the tournament by ten points.

The Under-18 women’s gold medal game will be a battle between Vic Metro and SA Metro following convincing wins for both teams in the Semi-Finals.

Vic Metro have won three of the past four Under-18 gold medals but SA Metro have not been successful since 1990.

In the Kevin Coombs Cup, the undefeated WA advanced directly to the gold medal playoff following five consecutive victories while Victoria won a qualifying final to earn the right to take on WA.

Queensland will meet NSW, who did not win a game through the group stage before upsetting SA in the qualifying final, for bronze in the first game of the final day.

Don’t forget the three gold medal games will be live-streamed on the BA Facebook page at 3pm (for the Kevin Coombs Cup final), 5pm (for the Under-18 women) and 7pm (for the Under-18 men) local time.
