The final day of the pool stage is upon us for the Under-18’s with Quarter-Finals beginning tomorrow while the Kevin Coombs Cup also gets underway today.

Vic Metro and QLD South will battle it out for top spot in Pool A for the Under-18 men today with only one team able to carry an unbeaten run into the Quarters.

WA Metro have also a booked a spot in the finals while SA Country face an important clash against ACT. A win for SA will be enough to secure a top-four position but a loss opens the door for NSW Country (who play WA Metro) as well as the men from the nation’s capital who play twice today, capping off the pool stage with a game against NT later in the day.

Tas are looking to enter the finals undefeated as well in Pool B for men, taking on WA Country today. QLD North are also secure but Vic Country and SA Metro meet at 7.30pm in what could be a clash for the last Quarter-Final spot.

For the women, Vic Metro and NSW Metro will fight it out for top spot of Pool A and that game will be live-streamed on the BA Facebook page from 5.30pm while WA Metro and QLD South have also booked places in the Quarter-Finals.

Pool B is tighter with one game to come for every team and only first-placed SA Metro and second-placed NSW Country secure.

Currently sitting fifth, Tas will need an upset against NSW Country to have any chance of leap-frogging Vic Country or QLD North but if either of those sides succeed on Day 5, they will also book a Quarter-Final berth.
