As the week progresses, the number of exhilarating games continues to grow as the best Under-14 Boys showcase their talents in Kilsyth.

The South West Slammers defeated Willetton by 1 point in a Western Australia battle, with both teams advancing to the Semi-Final. Malachai Belltop-scored for the Slammers with 31 points. A tight contest throughout, with the score being tied on numerous occasions. Willetton had an eight-point lead half way through the final term, however, a 3-point shot from Dyllan Catalano put South West in the lead for the first time since the main break and Willetton were unable to answer back within the dying seconds of the game.

A whopping 31 points from Leon Zahos was not enough for his Stirling Senators, going down to Canberra in an absolute nail-biter.

Canberra spread of scorers across Majak Wel (14), Willian Goodwin (16) & Liam Naughton (17) was too much for Stirling in the end as they finished the game with a two-point victory, 73-71.

The Brisbane Capitals were able to continue their strong tournament with a 29 point victory over Hills Hornets. Levi Mcauliffe led the scoring with 16 points however all Brisbane’s players were able to make an impact on the scoreboard, with four reaching double digits.

Luke Harvey’s impressive 23 points helped to get Norwood over the line against North West Tasmania, as the team from South Australia came away with a 48-36 victory.

A close victory for Illawarra saw them claim the top spot in Pool B, as they ended their all-NSW Quarter-Final against Werribee with Tobia Delaney (16) and Joshua Dent (18) top-scoring for the Hawks.

Eltham Wildcats (51-38 over Blacktown) and Sydney Comets (71-54 over North Adelaide) both had solid Quarter-Final victories to set up a Semi-Final rematch of last years Championship Gold Medal game. Both are undefeated in the competition so far this year.

Leading by as much as 10 points at three-quarter time, the Nunawading Spectres had to resist a strong comeback from Warrnambool as they got within two points in the final term.

Tristan Devers from the Spectres had 20 points with three other teammates also scoring double digits to lead Nunawading to a 59-55 victory and a place in tomorrow’s Semi-Final.
