Bulla Local Heroes – Week 4 Winner announced!
Kate Sewell has been announced as our last weekly winner in the Bulla Local Heroes competition, presented by Basketball Victoria.
Kate was nominated by Jeff Hintum who had this to say in the nomination about Kate’s amazing work with Warrnambool’s junior girls basketball program.
“When Kate started, girls’ basketball had taken a downturn in Warrnambool.
Participation numbers were down and some of the competitions were threatening that they wouldn’t be able to run anymore.
She helped make changes to help improve the access for girls in Warrnambool to play the sport.
Girls numbers are now thriving.”
As a weekly winner, Bulla and Melbourne United are excited to reward Kate with;
