SIGNET ANNOUNCED AS NEW MAJOR PARTNER OF THE AUSTRALIAN BOOMERS

The Signet logo will be seen in the thick of the action on the Boomers shorts against USA Basketball this week and at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in September.

Matt Henry, General Manager of Marketing & Sales for Signet, said: “Signet is excited to support the team through the World Cup and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. The Boomers don’t skip leg day, so we didn’t want to skip supporting their legs either with our brand on the official shorts.”

Signet isn’t just throwing a logo on the pant-leg of Australia’s best ballers though. Signet ambassadors, ‘Jingles’ Joe Ingles (Utah Jazz) and Matthew Dellavedova ‘Delly’ (Cleveland Cavs) will take fans behind the scenes of the Boomers with unique content, published by Signet, giving Aussies a glimpse of what it takes to prepare and perform against the world’s best at the FIBA World Cup and Tokyo 2020 Olympics.

From training sessions to down time and all the way to game time, Signet will give fans unprecedented access to ‘Delly’, ‘Jingles’ and the Boomers.

Basketball Australia’s Chief Executive Officer Jerril Rechter said: “We welcome Signet to Basketball Australia at such an exciting time for the Boomers. Thanks to the support of passionate companies such as Signet, our teams are able to compete at the highest level.”

Signet CEO, Jack Winson said “We’re all about helping Australia compete. Our customers are everyday Aussies and businesses who might be underdogs within their industry but are looking to become over-achievers. The Boomers are just that too, underdogs from humble beginnings that are taking it to the world’s best with the expectation of nothing less than the top result. Signet is more than proud to join forces with the Australian Boomers and support them on their quest to Gold.”
