CoE New Scholarship Athlete Announcement

Kristen Veal, Head Coach of the Women’s Program, expressed that, “Alana Goodchild is a strong, versatile athlete with an excellent foundation to build upon.  Alana is a dynamic, high-achieving individual who will not only thrive in, but help drive the elite daily training environment.  Alana will certainly add to the eclectic array of talent the CoE Women’s program currently boasts.”

 “Due to the present global COVID-19 situation, Alana will have to wait patiently to step across the border from NSW and get feet firmly on AIS soil, where she can make inroads into maximising her CoE Scholarship opportunity.  Until then Alana will integrate into the CoE program and get to know her new teammates through an interactive online academic and training schedule.”

Alana is a current member of the Australian U17 Women’s squad and will join six other members already based at the Centre of Excellence.
