BVC Females Only Coaching Clinic – registrations open

This FREE EVENT will be held on Saturday 9 December at the Bendigo Stadium, with a full day’s worth of incredible insights from an array of coaches, mentors and key note speakers from across the basketball and wider sporting community.

There will be clinic sessions throughout the afternoon – from 11am-5.30pm – before attendees have the option of also gaining FREE ENTRY into the WNBL clash at 7pm as Bendigo Spirit take on the Townsville Fire, as well as a free dinner.

The clinic is open to female coaches of any age from both country and metropolitan associations across Victoria, so there are plenty of reasons to grab your mates and bring them up to learn from the best.

Both WNBL coaches – Townsville’s Claudia Brassard and Bendigo’s Simon Pritchard will lead clinics as well as Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence Women’s head coach Kristen Veal and Phil Shelley from Basketball Education.

Our elite coaches will be on the mic all afternoon as they run through the specific tips and best practices to help their players shine on and off the court.

There will also be a panel with key note speakers featuring Cathryn Fitzpatrick – former Australian Women’s Cricket Team Head Coach – and Eliza Keaney – Geelong Football Club’s Performance Analyst – to give further insight into the life and times of elite athletes and getting the best of your players at all levels of basketball.

Attendance to the event includes a free ticket to the WNBL clash as well as a BVC McDonalds Bag including coach’s board and marker, coach’s pad and pen, drink bottle, stress ball and flyers for BV coach accreditation and key BVC contacts.

Refreshments and dinner will also be provided throughout BVC’s Females Only Coaching Clinic.
