Basketball Australia and Spalding Continue to Play Ball

Basketball Australia is pleased to announce it has signed a new multi-year partnership agreement with premium sporting goods brand Spalding.

The renewed partnership will see Basketball Australia and Spalding’s relationship enter its 10th year in 2020.

Under the agreement, Spalding will continue to be the official basketball and backboard of Basketball Australia and its National teams.

Spalding will also supply the official game ball of the Chemist Warehouse WNBL, Aussie Hoops and Sporting School participant basketballs, game balls for National Wheelchair Leagues and the Australian Junior Championships as well as basketballs for Basketball Australia’s new Walking Basketball program.

Chris Lambert, Managing Director for Spalding Australia said they are thrilled to be extending their partnership with Basketball Australia.

“Interest, passion and participation for basketball is at an all-time high, from grassroots right up to the national teams competing so well on the world stage,” said Lambert.
