2021 Victorian State Team Coaching and Staff applications open
Basketball Victoria will select junior high performance teams to attend the following 2021 Australian Junior Championships:
Under- 20 and Ivor Burge
10-14 February
Australian Institute of Sport, Canberra, ACT
Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup
10-17 April
Eagle Stadium, Werribee, Victoria
Under-16 Championships
4-11 July
Warwick Stadium, Perth, Western Australia
Basketball Victoria seeks applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals interested in one (1) of the following positions for each of our Victoria, Victoria Country and Victoria Metropolitan Women’s and Men’s representative state teams. Click on the individual position for the position description.
Applications must clearly state the position and the particular team being applied for:

Victoria Country applicants will need to reside outside of the Victoria Metropolitan area and be involved with an affiliated Victoria Country Association.
Applicants for Metro teams will need to reside in respective Metropolitan area and demonstrate an involvement with an affiliated Victoria Association.
Applicants for positions with our Victoria Under-20 Women’s and Men’s teams can be based in either Country or Metropolitan Victoria.
All Head Coach applicants who are invited to attend an interview will be required to present a detailed plan to Basketball Victoria’s State Teams Selection Panel – interviews if required will be held during the week commencing 31 August 2020.
Appointed Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches are expected to attend a State Team Preparation Meeting on Saturday 31 October 2020 at the State Basketball Centre, Social Room. Time to be confirmed.
