2021 FIBA ASIA CUP QUALIFYING SCHEDULE RELEASED

The Boomers are in Group C with Hong Kong, New Zealand and Guam, with the first qualifying window taking place from February 20-23. The Boomers will begin their qualifying campaign with a trans-tasman matchup against the New Zealand Tall Blacks.

Each team will play each other twice during the qualifying phase, with three windows set to take place, with the final window occurring in February 2021.

The Boomers took home the Asia Cup in their first inclusion in the tournament in 2017, defeating Iran in the final 79-56.

Details surrounding the locations and times of the Boomers’ home games will be announced in due course.

First Window:

Australia vs New Zealand, 20th Feb 2020.

Hong Kong vs Australia, 23rd Feb 2020.

Second Window:

Guam vs Australia, 27th November 2020

New Zealand vs Australia, 30th November 2020

Third Window:

Australia vs Hong Kong, 18th Feb 2021

Australia vs Guam, 21st Feb 2021
