We are at the business end of the competition with the Grand Finalists for the Under-18’s and Kevin Coombs Cup known by the end of today before the last day of the tournament tomorrow.

For the Kevin Coombs Cup, WA currently sit on top of the ladder with a 3-0 record and if they defeat NSW this morning, they will secure top spot and a place in the Grand Final.

At 2-1, Vic and QLD still have a chance to move ahead of them but they play each other today.

Second and third place will then play off in the afternoon (which could a replay for Vic and QLD depending on results) and the winner of that will advance to the Grand Final while the loser will play the winner of fourth and fifth place for a spot in the bronze medal playoff.

In the Under-18 men, Tas have continued their unbeaten streak and will meet QLD South in the Semi-Final today after QLD South got past their intrastate rivals by just two points thanks to a last second shot from Donovan Crowe.

The other Semi-Final will be played between Vic Metro (who thrashed Vic Country) and WA Metro who turned a one-point deficit at three-quarter time into an eight-point victory over NSW Metro.

For the Under-18 women, SA Metro will look to end Vic Country’s hopes of defending their Championship in the first Semi-Final while Vic Metro will take on NSW Country in the second Semi.
