2018 AUSTRALIAN SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIPS DAY 2 RECAP

Another massive day of competition has concluded and in the Men’s Championship Division, Trinity College have raced to a 2-0 record while Lake Gininderra have given themselves some breathing space in the other pool with three wins, two more than any other side.

For the Women’s Championship Division, Immanuel and Willetton look to be the teams to beat with Lake G dropping a second game and Pool B remains a very closely fought race.

In other results, Karabar High snuck past Trinity College in the Under-17 Girls Division 2 as as a free-throw from Jasmyn Boutzos clinched the game in the dying seconds.

Trinity were on the end of another heartbreaker in the Under-17 Boys Division 1 after Box Hill Senior Secondary scored the last nine points of the game to win by three.

The Under-15 Boys Division 1 had a number of notable games with Caulfield Grammar chalking up a century before Berwick College scored a whopping 123 points in a game later that day while Westfields Sports got past Maribyrnong by two points.
